- Advanced Diploma of Health Science (Acupuncture) – Australian College of Natural Medicine
- Certificate of Acupuncture – Guangxi Traditional Chinese Medicine University (China)
- Associate Nutritionist with Nutrition Society of Australia
Camilla studied at the Australian College of Natural Medicine and completed her training with a hospital-based internship in Nanning, China. Camilla has been practising since 2005, she consulted from the dedicated Fertility and Pregnancy clinic Eastwest Fertility from 2008 to 2017 working in collaborations with City Fertility IVF Clinic. She now runs her own practice in Bardon, QLD and consults worldwide online. Her previous employment history includes five years working as a health supplement and vitamin consultant.
Camilla holds a Bachelor of Health Science Degree, is a registered health practitioner with APRAH in the divisions of Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine as well as holding the title of Associate Nutritionist with the Nutrition Society of Australia. Camilla is a member of the Australian Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine Association (AACMA).
Ongoing training and education are important to Camilla who regularly attends workshops and training events in the areas of complementary medicine for fertility, obstetrics, hormonal disorder, oncology and mental health.
This ensures she is up-to-date with the latest information and research within her industry. She is also particularly interested in digestive issues, thyroid disease and mental health. Camilla has attended a number of births as a support person ranging from caesarean sections to hospital births, inductions, water births, Birth Centre births and an emergency “born-before-making-it-to-the-hospital-birth!”
Above all Camilla is a practitioner who deeply cares about her clients. She understands intimately the complexities of western medical fertility treatment and the emotional journey couples undertake in their quest to become parents. Her empathy and her knowledge have helped guide many couples to not only traverse the maize of fertility treatments with more ease but to gain a new level of health along the way.
